Reflection for the Solemnity of the Lord's Epiphany
The Readings for this day tells us one thing, the Gifts of Gold, Myrrh and Frankincense (The Meaning is in the Pic.). Some says that the Three Kings we're named as Gaspar, Melchor and Baltasar.
In the last part of the Gospel, the Kings were alarmed by the Angel that they should not report to Herod. Why? Because Herod has a Bad Plan for Jesus.
Now, let us focus on my Topic for this Reflection: THE GREATEST GIFT. Bono, an Italian Singer says: "Books! I dunno if I ever told you this, but books are the greatest gift one person can give another." Books are his greatest gift.
Saint John Bosco says that "The Greatest Gift of God into a Family is a Son-Priest." Yes!!! It is the GREATEST GIFT OF GOD TO A FAMILY!
There are many young people who discerns priesthood, and once they enter the Seminary for their priestly formation, they call themselves as Seminarians, the Greatest Gift for the Diocese or Religious Congregation is a Seminarians who discerns for priesthood.
On my own Experience, this 2017, I have the Greatest Gift in my entire life: First, is to join the Young Peacemakers on Campus Leaders, a Five-Day Leadership Training Seminar with full of Surprises (malalaman nyo na lamang sa Venue mismo) for the Campus Ministry of the Archdiocese of Manila. The LTS was on October 23-28, 2017 at Verbum Dei Retreat Center, Tagaytay City.
First Reading: Isaiah 60:1-6
Second Reading: Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6
Gospel: Matthew 2:1-12
Today, we celebrate the Lord's Epiphany. This solemnity is also called as the "Three Kings Day", that's the reason why we greet everyone a "Happy Three Kings" every first Sunday of January.

Reflective Questions:
1. As you receive your gifts, particularly this Christmas, what are your:
a. Needs?
b. Wants?
2. There is a quote saying: "It's better to give than to recieve."
a. What are the gifts that you give?
b. Who are the recipients?
c. Are these gifts are their needs or wants?
Dear Friends, let us remember that we are the GREATEST GIFT GOD TO OUR FAMILY, CHURCH, SCHOOL, AND SOCIETY WE BELONG.
For the very last time, I want to greet you a Merry Christmas and Blessed 2018.
